A strange alien race known as the Xsotan emerged in the galactic center. They appear to have found a way to cross the torn hyperspace fabric, but contact with them remains unestablished. Rumors circulate about a new metal called 'Avorion' that appeared in the galactic center around the same time as the Xsotan.
The main story of Avorion can be completed in approximately 57 hours. Extending gameplay beyond the main story adds an additional 203 hours.
