Apex Legends’ Newest Character Is A Bit Of A Speed Demon

Apex Legends’ next season, “Overclocked”, is scheduled to drop in just a few days, on May 5. The season promises a “high-risk, high-reward” meta designed for those who really want to test themselves and introduces the free-to-play shooter’s next Legend, Axle. Axle is all about speed, to the point that she’s what they’ve dubbed a body-mod racer. She features a Drift Passive that makes her moves more precise. In addition, her Nitro Gate Tactical allows her to move at high speeds, and her Kickstart Ultimate deploys an enemy-seeking drone. She’s bound to be a menace on the field.

In addition to the new character, Overclocked also introduces updates for Conduit and Vantage. Conduit’s base kit now has two charges of Radiant Transfer, and her Savior’s Speed grants bonus movement when sprinting toward Skirmishers. She also has two new Level 3 upgrades that improve her offensive power. Vantage, on the other hand, now has faster draw on her Sniper’s Mark Ultimate while her Echo Relocation Tactical prevents hard landing from damaging her. She also now boasts an increased 4x zoom and 2x canted sight.
