How does Black Ops 7 Carry Forward work? Historically, the Carry Forward mechanic in Call of Duty has allowed players to bring their hard-earned and paid-for skins and weapons to the next game in the series. Naturally, it was assumed this would be the case from BO6 to BO7, and it was - for a few days.

Now we know that there are set to be some changes to the Carry Forward scheme as we know it, as Activision finally listens to player complaints ahead of the Black Ops 7 release date.
