Wood is quickly becoming the latest trend in gaming PC builds, with plenty of the latest cases featuring wooden front panels, and now it looks as though you’ll soon be able to add a touch of good old-fashioned wood grain to your CPU cooler too. Deepcool has just shared a teaser image of a new air cooler with wooden paneling that it’s going to show off at the Computex tradeshow in Taiwan, and to me it looks much classier than an LCD.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen wood added to CPU cooling gear, of course. EK produced a very stylish range of wooden waterblocks for those brave enough to water-cool a PC, for example, but this is the first time I've seen wood on an air cooler. Typically, the best CPU coolers in this sector are mainly made from metal, with a large fan or two helping to push air through all the heatsink fins, but this Computex teaser from Deepcool is the first time I’ve seen an air cooler with wood incorporated into the design.
