It’s time to take on a new challenge in Wizard101. Work your way up the Ice Dekathalon Tower in the MMO’s latest event, but do it without your level, gear, or the ability to use regular trained spells. All you’ll have is yourself, treasure cards, and your wits. Reach the top and you’ll fight Professor Greyrose.
None of this is going to be easy though. Aside from the already mentioned limitations, players will also have a limited amount of attempts. Each day, they’ll get three entries into the Ice Deckathalon. With each of these entries, they’ll be able to climb as high as they can, stopped only by defeat or running out of treasure cards. Once all three attempts are used up, players are done for the day.
Of course, there are rewards for taking part in the event. Players will earn points for defeating monsters and using treasure cards. Earning enough of these points will earn players rewards like the Hands of Fate weapon or the Ice Class pet. Accruing points in the Deckathalon will also earn players points towards the Scroll of Fortune progress and even more rewards.
