PCGAMESN - Ben Stockton
Jan 08, 2025
Jensen Huang has officially unveiled the brand new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti at the CES 2025 trade show, a mid-tier gaming GPU that looks to have had a serious memory upgrade over the RTX 4070 Ti. It's also a GPU which Nvidia is claiming to be two times faster, performance wise, than the last-gen model it replaces, thanks partly to the Blackwell GPU's new DLSS 4 capabilities.
Unlike the RTX 4070 Ti, which as the RTX 4080 12GB was first "unlaunched" in a post-announcement rebrand before finally being overshadowed by the RTX 4070 Super, this new Nvidia Ti model GPU looks set to have a slightly less bumpy launch schedule. Time will tell to see if it can compete to be the best graphics card for the average gamer, however, with stiff competition from the RTX 5070 and RTX 5080, in particular.
