After six months of outrageously high prices, the cost of buying an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 is thankfully now settling down to a much more normal level. It’s still expensive, of course; we never expected this flagship GPU to be a bargain, but the RTX 5090 price has now dropped to its lowest level in the US since January, and it's even cheaper in the UK.
As I found in my Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 review, this mammoth gaming GPU offers an unprecedented amount of gaming power. While I'm not going to pretend that it's even remotely affordable for most people at its $1,999 MSRP, if you want the fastest graphics card you can buy for gaming, this Nvidia offering is undoubtedly the top-tier option in our guide to buying the best GPU right now.
