Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds Final Chapter "Absolution" Launches Next Week

The final chapter of Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds — "Absolution" — launches on June 3, concluding the free-to-play MMORPG's latest expansion.

This update introduces a new map and storyline centered around uncovering ancient secrets in the crumbling city of Bava Nisos, a once-great mursaat stronghold. The finale features a map-wide event leading to the Mists Gate, the source of the titan invasion, and includes a new 50-player boss fight against the titan Ura in the Convergence mode.

There’s a new fractal dungeon too. Kinfall will immerse players in the cultural history of the lowland Kodan, exploring the early influence of the elder dragon Jormag. This narrative-driven instance reveals important moments that prompted the Kodan migration to the Janthir Wilds. 

The update also brings significant improvements to Homesteads. Decoration cap is doubled, and players can now level up their Homestead mastery to 500 — unlocking new crafted decorations and enhancing customization.
