Here's Your Monthly Update Regarding Where Pantheon: Rise Of The Fallen Is At

Another month, another Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen Q&A.

Last night, Creative Director Chris Jaa Perkins and Producer Ben Dean answered questions from the community about the game's development via the official Discord server for the MMORPG. The main focus has been on creating a new persistence layer, which has been finished and is being tested internally. The game engine and supporting parts are stable, with Pantheon running on launch tech. The persistence layer is the final vestige of the Legacy code, which was initially set up at the beginning of the project. 

Also, the team is working on fixing a few things that were found in internal testing to make the experience more seamless. Bind stones are a new feature in the MMO, which function as an alternative bind mechanic for personal use. They will be able to bind in additional locations and classes, and there are plans to add more classes that can bind in different locations. There are plans to overhaul the Zone Crossing feature as well, which requires freezing and overhauling the game engine to keep the game moving forward. The last of the old Legacy code is being gutted and updated as new features are being added to the game. 

The next patch is coming out soon, with new features such as the ability to spawn in different zones and return characters to their original locations.
