Another month and another set of patch notes for Heroes of the Storm. While the updates continue to be tweaks and balance changes, it's good to see the MOBA showing at least some small signs of life after it went from July 2022 to September 2023 with not so much as a whisper.
Since September, there's been some sort of patch every month except for December and March. That's pretty substantial coming off a one-year hiatus.
For ARAM players, Artanis, Hogger, Leoric, Whitemane, and Zarya have been added, while Nova and Probius have been removed.
There's a healthy dose of bug fixes in this patch including adding XP value to the Death Recap, fixing an issue that caused location targeted abilities to be canceled by conveyor belts, and an updated home screen and startup music.
The Blackheart's Bay map has an updated coin warning indicator that will remain consistently colored. Cursed Hollow has had the Call for Help ability warning display corrected. Warhead Junction sewers are now clickable while they are in the fog of war while Warheads now interact with physics objects.
There are also a ton of hero balance changes including buffs to Arthas and nerfs to Junkrat and Rehgar. You can check out the full list of changes on the Heroes of the Storm site.
