Here’s some good news for console players hoping to play Crytek’s Hunt: Showdown on their system of choice – specifically if that system is the PlayStation 5 or the Xbox Series X|S. In its latest roadmap video, the developer announced that the game would be coming to both these seasons in April 2024. And when it arrives, it will feature 4K visuals and an engine upgrade.
When the console versions arrive they will include the same content and features as the PC version. That includes a new biome for Map 4, challenge pools, the CryEngine upgrade, and an overhaul of the UI. Some of these changes mean new system requirements for the PC version. Players will now need the 7th Gen Intel Gen 7700 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processors. GPU requirements will be the NVIDIA GTX 1650 Super or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT.
