Just When We Thought We Could Relax, Things Are Getting Crazy In Genshin Impact

The war is over in Natlan with the help of the Traveler, and it’s just about time for Mondstadt’s annual Windbloom Festival. Unfortunately, it seems like there will be a bit less celebrating as the Traveler’s friend Albedo is on trial for murder. In the meantime, in the city of Fontaine, other nefarious deeds are underway as Neuvilette has apparently been poisoned. That’s just a bit of what’s going down in Genshin Impact’s Version 5.6 update, “Paralogism”.

HoYoverse shared the details of the action RPG’s upcoming update earlier today in the latest Special Program. Of course, players can expect the addition of a new five-star character. This one is a chef from Fontaine named Escoffier. There’s also a new four-star from Natlan named Ifa, a sauro-vet who travels with a saurian named Cacucu.

Players can also look forward to additional events, such as an amusement park management event in Fontaine. Everything kicks off on May 7, when the update drops on all available platforms.
