Holiday weekends are usually pretty popular times to play your favorite MMORPG, but if you are a fan of a Standing Stone Games MMO, you were left out in the cold over the Easter weekend. Both Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons and Dragons Online saw extensive downtime due to server outages, leaving players of both games without access for the majority of the weekend.
Standing Stone Games is doing right by its players, however, by offering bonuses and rewards to those affected by the outage. Both Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons & Dragons Online will be giving two additional VIP days to those who subscribe to the games to cover the two days the games were down.
But that's not all. In LOTRO, the Spring Festival has been extended for another week and will now run through Tuesday, April 9th. A 20% virtue XP boost will be given to all players from April 3rd through the 8th, and you can use the coupon code REWARD2024 in the LOTRO store to pick a mount of your choosing.
For DDO players, VIP Daily Gold Rolls have been extended to April 26th, and everyone will receive a +25% Heroic and Epic XP boosts, +25% Guild Renown, and +10 Treasure Hunter Boost.
It should be noted that Standing Stone has hit an issue when trying to credit accounts with the two VIP days, but they are working on a fix.
