Nakwon: Last Paradise’s Final Closed Alpha Trailer Is A Small But Terrifying Piece Of Art

Today marks the start of Nakwon: Last Paradise’s closed beta test. If you signed up, check your email and keep checking it as the invites will roll out throughout the duration of the test.

To mark the beginning of the test, Nexon dropped a final trailer giving players a feel for the setting. The trailer begins with a woman looking for a safe place to be, only for it to get overrun by zombies. By the time help arrives, it’s too late – not that they look like they’re exactly there to be of help anyway.

From there, you follow the group and a lone “survivor” into what’s left of Seoul. The whole thing is bleak, and sets the tone for a game in which humans appear to be learning to live with the undead. Its focus is less on zombie shooting and more on what life is like.
