Netmarble Drops New Update In Raven2, Kicking Off The Snowflake Festival

Today, Netmarble dropped a new update in the free-to-play “brutal dark fantasy” MMORPG Raven2, introducing new guild vs guild content in which 24 guilds fight across four battlefields, as well as a special holiday event dungeon. In the GvG content, “Ancient Fortress”, guilds will compete with each other to take down powerful bosses on the battlefields. The guild that manages to land the finishing blow on the final boss wins, earning a large amount of Crystals for their efforts.

These events require guilds to bid for a position using an in-game item. Four guilds per server will be selected to participate. The first event is scheduled to take place on January 10. To help guilds prepare, an Ancient Fortress Support Mission event will be held, offering players a chance to earn Heroic Crafting Blueprints or Heroic Skill Book Crafting Blueprints.

On the more festive front, a special event dungeon, the Snowflake Festival Hill, pits players against the Gingerbread Man. Defeating the delicious treat – probably not by eating them – will earn players a variety of rewards. Said rewards include a holiday-themed Heroic Holy Garment, a Rare Holy Garment, and a Rare Familiar. Players can also pick up a Heroic Holy Garment Summon Scroll in the game’s current check-in event.
