Want to try something a bit different on the racing game front? Thanks to Steam Next Fest you can hop (literally) into a new demo of Supermoves, a new parkour racing game coming from Makea Games. You'll need to slide, grapple, wall run, jump, flip, and dash your way to the finish line in races that include up to 40 players.
Supermoves isn't just a one-trick pony on the parkour front, though.
In addition to the multiplayer racing mode, Supermoves has a level creation tool and a career mode. Think Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and you have a good idea. Career mode gives you multiple maps to explore and multiple objectives to accomplish in each map.
The controls can feel a little floaty at times, particularly if you opt to play in a third-person view, but the races are fun so far. If you opt to play with a controller, you'll either want to re-map things a bit or adopt a claw grip on the controller with the default controls.
Supermoves comes out on August 28th.
