"Not The Reason You Support Us": Pantheon Drops 247, Refocuses On MMORPG, Removes Some Of The NDA

Big changes coming to Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen in its development approach.

After recently touting how beneficial 247 was to recent testing, today Visionary Realms announced the discontinuation of the Test Mode and a return to a full MMORPG experience. This change will be implemented immediately, with the full MMORPG available around the clock for pledges with the Pre-Alpha access perk. Alpha pledges, on the other hand, will be invited to participate in 24-hour sessions starting in December — with a detailed schedule to be announced.

Effective December 1, the verbal NDA for Pre-Alpha testers will be lifted. That means they will all be able to freely discuss the game and share their experiences. However, the visual NDA will remain in place…requiring approval from Visionary Realms before posting any screenshots or videos. This decision to revert to a full PvE MMORPG comes in response to feedback from the Pantheon community, signaling a disconnect between player expectations and the intended purpose of the survival extraction testing mode.

Acknowledging potential concerns and expressing understanding for the impact on trust, Visionary Realms plans to address questions and concerns through a live Q&A session on Pantheon’s Discord on November 16 at 5 PM (PT). They emphasized their commitment to rebuilding trust with the community and expressed gratitude to those who continue to support the project while recognizing the reservations of those who may need more time to regain confidence in Pantheon and its development.
