Rift Budgies

If you’re looking for something to do in Rift, the Budgie event is back. Starting today, players of the MMORPG can head to Meridian, Sanctum, or Tempest Bay and seek out the quest giver who will grant them entry into the Budgie Races.

The process is simple, mount your bird, stay on the path, hit the checkpoints, use the boosts, and avoid the orange traps. Complete special daily quests during the event to earn Chaos Motes and when you have enough trade them in for mounts and other rewards.

The event is live now and will end on August 12, so you have three days to collect your birds.

Once you're done, you could also hit up the mysteriously opened up public test server and grab some free Patron time for testing the game...the one that hasn't received updates.
