Play 2D Platformer MMORPG Soul’s Remnant During The Latest Steam Next Fest

Another Steam Next Fest is underway, and this one actually includes a free-to-play MMORPG. The 2D platformer, Soul’s Remnant is part of the Next Fest lineup, offering players a chance to play a demo of the game. For those who gravitate to that style of MMORPG, it’s an opportunity worth taking, particularly as there’s still no official release date for the game.

For those unfamiliar with Soul’s Remnant, the indie-MMORPG features a large 2D world with all the things you’d expect from an MMO, like dungeons, crafting and gathering, a guild system, and more. It has a classless skill system allowing players to build their characters with a selection of stats. Other features include player-driven content like parties, housing, and player-run shops.

Soul’s Remnant has been in the works for about nine years, and the game is obviously getting closer to releasing. Players have a week to try out the game for themselves over the next seven days and see if it’s something they’ll be adding to their play list when it officially launches. Steam Next Fest ends on October 20.
