The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 are set to receive an official introduction in just a few weeks time, the GPU maker has confirmed. This will likely see the reveal of the official specs and performance data for the new graphics cards, along with a final release date. The cards are believed to offer performance on par with Nvidia's new mid-tier GeForce cards, the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070, with those GPUs also expected to get full unveilings in the coming few weeks.
The new AMD gaming GPUs were initially teased by the company during the CES trade show in January 2025, but it hasn’t said much about them since. However, we’ve seen various RX 9070 XT spec leaks pop up, along with rumors that the RX 9070 XT pricing strategy will see these GPUs go toe-to-toe with Nvidia's new RTX 5070-series cards.
