The next event in The Elder Scrolls Online asks players to put their skills to use. Ideally, this would be things like crafting, gathering, and maybe a bit of monster slaying. You know, good, honest work. That being said, it’s not everyone’s lot in life to be a merchant or a hero. Some folks gotta find other ways to survive. So, yes, even if it’s a bit of pickpocketing, players of the MMORPG will be rewarded for getting things done.
The Zeal of Zenithar event kicks off in just a few days, on June 20 at 10 am Easter time, and will run until 10 am on July 2. During this time, players can earn rewards for a variety of activities. These include completing Master and Crafting Writs and defeating world bosses, world events while grouping with guild friends, and the daily “Honest Toil” quest each day. For completing the daily, players will receive a Zenithar’s Delightful Parcel box. Players will receive additional parcel boxes for each first completion of the activities listed above per day.
Parcel boxes are also available for completing group-based arena challenges or a Cycle in the Infinite Archive while teamed up with a guild friend. Basically, they would like you to do stuff with your guildmates. It is an MMORPG after all.
To kick things off, players will need to pick up the quest “The Unrefusable Offer” from Amminus Varo (or, just hit up the Crown Store). An additional parcel box is also rewarded for completing this quest.
If nothing above appeals, players do have the chance to find parcels throughout Tamriel. Well, when we say “find” we really mean “steal”. These parcels must either be pickpocketed or looted from strongboxes or thieves' troves. So, even if you don’t feel like doing dailies, you won’t be left out.
The parcel boxes contain a wide variety of useful items. A rundown of all the available goodies is available on the Elder Scrolls Online site. The same page also contains information on buffs and cost travel reductions that will be available during the event.
Also detailed another part of the Zeal of Zenithar event. Those who participate will receive tickets for completing “Honest Toil” each day, for a possible grand total of 39 tickets. These are necessary for players looking to complete the Master of Schemes personality.
