Things Are Going To Get Frosty In Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed Upcoming Free Year 2 DLC

Here comes Year 2 of Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed.

There will be four major (FREE) DLC releases planned throughout 2024, with the first coinciding with the release of the latest movie, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. This DLC introduces Garraka, the master of Death Chill, as a new villain. Players will also go on adventures inspired by the movie, and grab additional Ghostbuster gear such as proton packs and suits.

A roadmap for the game was revealed by IllFonic too, teasing future DLCs, a 40th Anniversary announcement, the return of fan-favorite elements, and bounty hunts. Each DLC installment focuses on enhancing gameplay mechanics and introduces new ghosts, gear, and gadgets. The game's cross-platform functionality allows players to unite or compete across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

Chief Creative Officer Jared Gerritzen said: "We have been so focused on building an immersive world, one fans would recognize and appreciate. Our goal now is to double down on the feel. As a long-time Ghostbusters fan, I want to feel immersed. Our drive for DLC year two: heighten the fun, heighten the experience."
