RPGs are so hot right now.
Dungeon Full Dive, a virtual tabletop platform aiming to recreate the Dungeons & Dragons 5E experience in the digital realm, has set its Early Access release date set for October 23. The game, which became Kickstarter's most funded VR project, allows both PC and VR players to join in sessions together with cross-play support for up to eight participants. There will be a sneak peek at Dungeon Full Dive during Steam's Next Fest, starting on October 9.
The game empowers Game Masters (GMs) to craft immersive TTRPG experiences with its map-builder and plans to introduce features like a soundboard and weather effects to enhance storytelling. This platform offers dozens of hand-crafted maps for customization too. And the full-dive mode allows players to experience their campaigns from a first-person perspective through their miniature characters, adding depth and personalization to their gameplay. Dungeon Full Dive also provides state integration for 5e, streamlining character sheet creation within the game.
Key features of Dungeon Full Dive include map-building capabilities, a complex character editor, support for up to eight players in a campaign with crossplay functionality, and the option to view the world in a classic top-down tabletop view or from the perspective of your miniature character.
