New horror shooter mixing Resident Evil and Battlefield 1 finally hits Steam

I’ve always admired the mood of Battlefield 1. It’s a strangely horrifying shooter, especially for a mainstream release. Death is quick and easy, the horizon is lined with fire and explosions, your shoes are caked with mud. It’s dirty, grungy, and unheroic. Indie game Trench Tales pulls on that tradition capably. It’s a third-person, action-horror game set in an alternate, haunted WW1 and it launches on Steam in early access very soon.
