The Xbox handheld is reportedly set to come out in just a few months. That’s according to a new rumor, which suggests that both Asus ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X handhelds will go on sale on October 16, with the date apparently set to be confirmed by Microsoft at Gamescom on August 20.
We’ve already reported on a recent Xbox handheld pre-order rumor, from the same source, which suggests pre-orders are set to go live on the same day as the Gamescom announcement by Microsoft. That would leave eight weeks for gamers before they get their hands on this new Asus device, which we’re expecting to compete with the models already in our best handheld guide.
