You Can Now Pre-Download Aion 2 On Steam

Tomorrow (September 30), Early Access will kick off for NC’s latest free-to-play MMORPG, Aion 2. The whole thing starts pretty early for players in the Western hemisphere: 6:00 AM Pacific/9:00 AM Eastern.

Of course, no one wants to be downloading the game when the servers are live. So, it’s a good thing that pre-download via Steam is available now. And yes, the download is available for those who have not purchased a pack as well. So, if you’re planning on joining on October 5, you can go ahead and get the download out of the way.

If you’re wanting to plot what server you and your friends will join, NC has provided a server list. There are two-to eight servers available on the various data centers. That said, the number you can choose between is halved based on which faction you decide to roll as. So, say you’re playing as an Asmodian on NA East, you’ll have Israphel and Zikel to choose between.
