About
ACE Academy is a sports, indie, action, RPG, adventure, and simulation title published and developed by PixelFade that released on August 22, 2016. This single-player experience functions as a slice-of-life, story-centric comedy game with dating-sim elements and features full voice acting alongside extensive interactivity. The narrative is set in the year 2049, where mechanized robots known as GEARs are utilized for military purposes before becoming common in commercial use and sports entertainment. This widespread adoption of GEARs has established a new academic discipline called Cenorobotics within Japan. The protagonist transfers to ACE Academy, which serves as a premier institution for Cenorobotics studies. Upon arrival, the character struggles to locate a team willing to accept him and his outdated American GEAR for participation in an intramural tournament. His search appears hopeless when compared to the sleek, robust, and advanced technologies employed by Japanese counterparts. The story continues to unfold as he eventually discovers a group that changes his situation.Read moreShow less
