About
Aloft is an indie adventure and simulation title published by Funcom and developed by Astrolabe Interactive Inc. The game was released on January 15, 2025, offering players a casual experience set in a world of floating islands. You can play the single-player mode alone or team up with up to eight friends in co-op multiplayer sessions. The core gameplay involves soaring through the skies and transforming any island into a skyship that serves as your home. Players gather resources, craft tools, and cook meals to gain buffs while exploring the vast open sky. You will also take care of animals and discover new islands to enrich biodiversity within the airborne ecosystem. A fungal corruption spreads across nature, requiring you to root it out and brew powerful antidotes to cure the threat. This process involves uncovering lost knowledge and restoring balance to the environment through positive actions rather than punishing mistakes. The sky provides everything needed for survival, allowing you to build your dream home and explore freely.
