Arcadia Fallen is an indie fantasy RPG developed and published by Galdra Studios that was released on November 17, 2021. Players take on the role of a young alchemist apprentice who is unwillingly bound to an illegal spirit. This adventure puzzle simulation game places you in a world suddenly drawn into a war between humanity and magic. You must join a group of unlikely heroes to escape your own doom while hopefully saving the world along the way. The game features single-player gameplay with controller support, allowing you to shape the personality of your character through your choices. You decide whether to be shy, bold, or the one forever making jokes in any given situation. Your decisions will never keep you from going on but may influence what you will have to endure before reaching your goal. The title offers a story with no right or wrong choices and no bad endings for players to experience. Character customization lets you create an alchemist in your own image or play out a fantasy scenario. You decide how traumatic events sculpt and grow your alchemist's personality when faced with tragedy. Whether you want to become a master of alchemy, engage in a romance, or discover the mysteries of the world is up to you. The journey includes five companions, four of which you can form romantic relationships with while also building deep platonic bonds. You are able to form meaningful platonic relationships with everyone, including the fifth companion named Mime. Use your alchemy skills to solve crises, assist your companions, and change the world around you. Take on powerful demons with your alchemy skills and the help of an ancient artifact. Hone your skills to discover secret recipes within the game. The main story takes about seven hours to complete, while the full experience including extras extends to nine hours.
