About
Assault Android Cactus+ is an action indie title published and developed by Witch Beam that arrived on September 23, 2015. The game functions as an arcade style twin stick shooter set within a vivid sci fi universe where players control Junior Constable Cactus. She responds to a distress call but finds herself stranded on a crippled space freighter while under attack by its own robot workers. Players can choose from nine playable androids, each offering a distinct play style and personality to blast through hordes of robots. The experience supports both single-player and local co-op game modes for those who prefer playing with a partner. A draining battery mechanic replaces traditional lives, requiring players to think fast while keeping the bullets flying during intense combat. The gameplay blends western styled arena shooters with aspects of Japanese style bullet hell as you charge head first through transforming stages. You will face massive boss battles and an eclectic cast of characters on the way to saving the day from the ship's workforce.
