About
Assault Spy is an action, indie, adventure, and sci-fi title published by NIS America, Inc. and developed by Wazen. The game was released on October 1, 2018, offering a single-player experience set in a world where corporations hold significant power. Players can choose to control Asaru Vito, a self-proclaimed elite corporate spy who often struggles with his clumsy partner Kanoko Yotsuba. Alternatively, the story allows users to play as Amelia, a rowdy and reckless CIA agent whose perspective intertwines with Asaru's narrative. The gameplay focuses on infiltrating the mega corporation Negabot while dodging bullets and executing fancy combo moves against security robots. Defeating enemies unlocks new abilities that enable players to chain together stylish finishing moves during high-speed dash combat. This fast-paced action lets users smash their way through missions to uncover the truth behind a company takeover by terrorists. The experience combines elements of spy action comedy with dynamic movement mechanics designed for evasion and offense. The main story takes approximately six hours to complete, while including extra content extends playtime to nine hours. For players aiming to see all available content, the completionist run requires about eleven hours. This length provides a substantial journey through the unique playstyles of both characters within the game's sci-fi setting.
