This title distinguishes itself from standard deckbuilders by utilizing dice rather than cards to manage gameplay mechanics. The core loop involves building a dice pool strong enough to purify the Star System against out-of-control corruption. The game features a unique dual system where Purification can damage enemies or heal the player, while Corruption can damage the player or heal enemies. Players may choose to pacify foes through Purification or corrupt themselves to unlock abilities that shift the balance of power. A dynamic health bar allows skills to activate when taking Corruption, enabling powerful abilities at the risk of being consumed by it. The dice pool system offers over 350 options across three types designed for high-risk, high-reward outcomes. Players can customize their dice by editing die faces with new actions to improve the odds of desired results. Six Brave Oracles are available, each bringing unique dice sets, abilities, and playstyles ranging from spellcasters to berserkers. The roster also includes 20 upgradeable Support Sentinels that act as enchanted constructs offering supportive dice rolls during combat. Over 170 Modifying Blessings provide passive effects, with Star Blessings offering lower power options and Black Hole Blessings delivering potent effects with drawbacks. The run includes more than 20 random events found in mysterious locations that can alter the course of the adventure. Enemies attack using their own die, allowing players to manipulate enemy dice to change their intent. The experience offers 16 difficulty levels for customization and testing various abilities. The main story takes approximately 8 hours to complete, while including extras extends playtime to around 29 hours.
