About

Bad Memories is an indie adventure and casual title published by bmrec, which also developed the game. The single-player experience focuses on a story rich visual novel format where players navigate complex emotional themes. You can choose to play as either a heterosexual man or a lesbian woman dealing with their past. Your decisions throughout the narrative influence later parts of the game and can alter a few early scenes. The plot centers on a childhood that became difficult after the mother passed away when the protagonist was still young. At the same time, the father began drinking and seeing women differently before finding a new girlfriend. This lifestyle change caused things to get out of hand for the family unit. The protagonist also faced challenges such as fighting with other kids and having trouble in school.Read more
