BalanCity, published and developed by MeNic Games, is an indie strategy simulation released on September 21, 2016. This single-player title combines city building mechanics with balance physics in a style reminiscent of classic SimCity mixed with Jenga. Players construct the tallest possible city on a balancing platform while ensuring their citizens remain happy throughout the process. The game offers three distinct modes including Free Build, which acts as a sandbox limited only by gravity, and Missions that require achieving specific goals with limited resources. In Scenarios based on real-life cities, players must build all landmarks before the city collapses. Available structures include residences, offices, power plants, train stations, airports, and various other landmarks. Disasters such as fires, earthquakes, meteor strikes, UFO attacks, and monsters will eventually test the stability of your creation. The main story takes approximately two hours to complete, while including extras extends playtime to three hours.
