About
Be My Horde is an indie action simulation game developed and published by Polished Games. It was released on June 18, 2024, as a single-player experience. The title features a top-down 2D perspective where players control Moriana, a necromancer who fights against the forces of the living. In this roguelite, you assume the role of an alluring and dangerous character whose motivation remains unknown throughout the story. Your primary goal is to build a malevolent army by resurrecting every fallen enemy, regardless of whether they are peasants, warriors, knights, or sheep. You must devour the souls of these foes and add their bodies to your expanding horde to grow more powerful with each death. The gameplay loop involves starting a conquest that unleashes chaos upon the living world while preparing for inevitable failure after every run. Although being evil presents challenges, the system allows you to use harvested souls to enhance your skills between attempts. The narrative frames the player as the sole antagonist in this specific story setting.
