About
Bills Must Be Paid is an active incremental game developed and published by Rike Games, scheduled for release on July 29, 2026. The title falls within the action, indie, strategy, casual, and simulation genres while offering a single-player experience. In this short game, you are broke and must smash piggy banks to earn money so you can pay your bills. Smashing these banks costs stamina, and the run ends when your hand gets tired from the effort. Bills will show up during gameplay, and ignoring them leads to bankruptcy as your destiny. Paying off debts unlocks perks that help you clear your debt faster and grants legacy points for upgrades. You can spend these points on rings and bracelets to upgrade your hand after declaring bankruptcy. Different piggy types exist in the game, with some running away, others being too lazy to move, and some carrying black money. Piggies also spawn random loot, leaving you to wonder which one holds the most value. The game includes a skill tree with multiple paths where you can improve your grip strength and gain other abilities.
