About
BloodRayne Betrayal returns the original femme fatale, Rayne, to a new hack and slash adventure published by Ziggurat and developed by Abstraction Games. Released on April 30, 2014, this single-player action title casts players as a sexy dhampir possessing superhuman strength, speed, and agility. Recruited by the vampire hunting Brimstone Society, Rayne is tasked with one final mission to stop an evil master plot. The adventure takes place in a lavish yet sinister ball held within a secluded castle filled with dark and gruesome surprises. Players infiltrate the manor with assistance from a mysterious friend and members of the Brimstone Society to eliminate a fiendish horde. The game features 15 challenging levels spread across multiple unique acts, including The Forest, The Attic, and The Freaky Ballroom. Throughout the experience, players encounter new characters such as a mysterious shape shifter while battling evil vampire scum. Combat involves slaying ghastly enemies and feeding on them to refuel during the mission.
