About
Bloodwash is an action title developed by Black Eyed Priest and Henry Hoare, published by Torture Star Video. The game features low-poly graphics that mimic the visual style of PS1-era titles. Players experience a narrative-focused horror adventure in a first-person perspective where threats can approach from any direction. This single-player experience allows users to play in normal mode or switch to VHS mode for an additional layer of grime. The story follows Sara, a pregnant college student who lives with her alcoholic boyfriend in a run-down apartment complex. A serial killer known as the Womb Ripper is targeting pregnant women and terrorizing the city during this late-night scenario. After the washing machine in the basement breaks down, a neighbor directs Sara to a 24-hour laundromat on the outskirts of town. The plot draws inspiration from giallo films while presenting a situation where survival depends on navigating a dangerous environment filled with gore. The main story runs for approximately two hours, and the total playtime including extras also totals around two hours. Completionist length remains at two hours as well. Released on September 16, 2021, this horror snack offers a specific scenario involving laundry tasks and potential danger from the killer.
