About
Boo Men is an indie action title published and developed by Twisted Corridor that launched on September 15, 2022. The game supports single-player modes as well as online co-op play for up to four burglars working together. Players are assigned a specific list of items they must steal from various homes before they can depart. Success depends on managing the power supply, since turning on too many lights will drain energy and trigger an outage. During these outages, players must find the breaker box to restore electricity if they wish to continue safely. The core mechanic requires staying within the illuminated areas because darkness hides dangerous entities known as Boo Men. However, caution is needed even in the light, as some of these creatures may wait for players to turn it off before attacking. The game adjusts its difficulty and setup based on whether you are playing solo or with a team of up to four people. You can choose to split the stolen money with your crew or keep the entire prize if you play alone. There are six different types of Boo Men available, each possessing their own distinct characteristics. The main story content takes approximately eight hours to complete, while finishing all optional elements extends the experience to thirteen hours. The online co-op feature allows friends to team up and divide the loot among themselves. Whether facing solo challenges or collaborating with a group, the objective remains stealing items while avoiding detection in the shadows.
