Braveland is an indie fantasy RPG developed and published by Tortuga Team, released on March 17, 2014. This turn-based strategy title features a hexagonal battlefield where players command troops in old-school style battles. The game offers single-player gameplay set within a hand-drawn world that covers many interesting places and characters. Players begin as the son of a humble warrior whose village was raided before rising to become a talented commander of an army. The roster includes 26 various warriors and creatures ranging from archers to golems who join your forces throughout the campaign. You can evolve your hero, find artifacts, and learn battle magic while facing intense boss fights at the end of each story chapter. The adventure spans three story chapters, each taking place in a unique corner of the world with high definition illustrated cartoon art. The main story length is approximately 3 hours, extending to 5 hours when including extras for a total completionist run of 6 hours. With over 50 battles available, the game provides hours of gameplay focused on testing battle skills and defeating enemies in hand-to-hand combat.
