About
Choice of Robots is an indie role-playing game published and developed by Choice of Games that was released on December 19, 2014. This single-player title functions as a text-based interactive sci-fi novel containing approximately 300,000 words written by Kevin Gold. The entire experience relies on imagination rather than graphics or sound effects to convey the narrative. Players design their own robot character and determine every aspect of its appearance and how it addresses the user. Throughout the story, you can choose to instigate a robotic uprising or prevent one from happening entirely. You may also decide whether your creations learn to love humanity or develop disdain for it. The gameplay allows you to build an artificial intelligence capable of taking control of global governments. Alternatively, you can start a war against the United States and achieve victory in that conflict. Another option involves marrying either a human or an advanced robot to begin a family within the story. The main storyline takes about two hours to complete, while including extras extends playtime to five hours. For those seeking to see every outcome, the completionist length reaches thirteen hours.
