Colony Survival is an action indie adventure strategy title published and developed by Pipliz. Released on June 16, 2017, this first-person strategy game was created by a two-man team. Players build their own colony within a voxel world environment. The experience supports both single-player and co-op modes for multiplayer sessions. You command guards, farmers, miners, and other colonists to manage your settlement. Monsters attack every night, requiring you to defend against the horde. You can plant a banner to start your colony with a couple of berry farmers, slingers, and a copper miner. As you recruit more colonists, more monsters will try to invade your colony. To deal with the increasing threat, you must build walls, dig moats, and construct forts. The game features dynamic 3D pathfinding where both colonists and monsters find their way in your world. You can build bridges, tunnels, stairs, overpasses, and underpasses to guide colonists while blocking monsters. Use an extensive science system to unlock jobs, blocks, upgrades, and new weapons. Dozens of different jobs become available as you progress through the game. Your colony starts small but expands as you start using new metals like bronze, iron, and steel. Producing these metals requires new fuels like charcoal and cokes. The main story length is 15 hours, while a completionist run takes 36 hours.
