About
Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals is a multiplayer horror party game published and developed by Glowstick Entertainment that launched on November 2, 2020. The title falls within the action, indie, and casual genres while offering co-op and multi-player features for groups of friends. Players assume the roles of monsters or mortals from the Dark Deception universe as well as other universes to compete in nightmarish mazes. The game includes several distinct gameplay modes designed for different group dynamics and objectives. In Maze Escape, three mortals work together to gather enough shards to open a portal and escape before a monster can stop them or kill them within the time limit. Shard Mayhem operates as a monsters-only mode where four players engage in a free-for-all battle to collect the most shards during the allotted time. Shards appear in waves throughout the match, and players can steal them from opponents by attacking or killing them.
