Deadside is a PVP PVE Survival Shooter that combines elements of Extraction Shooters and Persistent World Survival games. Players can extract to safe zones, build bases, and acquire loot through missions and interactions with other players. The game emphasizes hardcore tactical gunplay. Deadside blends the mechanics of an Extraction Shooter within an Open Persistent World featuring both PVP and PVE gameplay along with survival elements. Players can store their loot in a designated safe zone or construct a base within the vast world. Bases offer increased storage capacity and protection from offline raids. If another player kills you, they may obtain a raid token, granting them access to raid your base for one hour. The game features tactical gunplay, challenging missions, and newly-added boats, providing an open world experience with fast and clear progression. Players can acquire weapons quickly within the game. The world of Deadside is expansive, encompassing forests, rivers, and settlements. Players are free to build structures anywhere outside of established settlements. Challenging NPCs patrol the map, and player progression is determined solely by their skill. There are no level systems in place.
