About
Deceit is an action and indie first-person shooter developed and published by World Makers that released on March 3, 2017. The game focuses on multi-player gameplay where players test their instincts regarding trust and deception. You begin in unknown surroundings after hearing the Game Master's unfamiliar voice while surrounded by five other people. A third of your group has been infected with a virus, leaving you to determine who will successfully escape. When playing as an innocent character, you must stay alert and traverse three zones to reach the safety hatch. The infected players are tasked with taking down the other innocent players one by one while you try to survive. You will encounter items throughout the map that can help you advance towards the exit. Every decision regarding which items are most valuable requires you to decide whether to collaborate or fight with other players. The main story length is six hours, while completing all extras extends the playtime to forty-three hours.
