Depth is an indie action game published and developed by Digital Confectioners. It was released on November 3, 2014. Players can choose to play as either a shark or a diver in a dark aquatic world. The game features both single-player and multiplayer modes.
Players who choose to play as a shark have access to seven different species, each with unique strengths. These include the Great White, Tiger, Mako, Bull, Hammerhead, Thresher, and the legendary Megalodon. Sharks rely on speed and senses to hunt their prey. Divers, on the other hand, must explore the ocean depths in search of treasure to upgrade their arsenal.
Divers can defend themselves with a variety of weapons, ranging from spearguns and pistols to underwater assault rifles and explosive sea mines. The main story in Depth takes approximately three hours to complete. Adding in extra content increases the playtime to 64 hours. A completionist playthrough will take around 84 hours.
