About
Down with the Ship is a strategic auto battler developed by Iron Anchor Games and published by Proxy Studios, releasing on May 15, 2026. The game falls under the indie and strategy genres, offering both multi-player and co-op experiences. Players design a heavily-armed spaceship by drafting over 200 items to outfit their hull for async PvP battles. You connect hull pieces to expand your ship and create space for modules like guns, reactors, shields, and cursed relics. Each round presents a new set of parts, requiring you to decide whether to buy what fits or lock in specific needs. The core mechanic involves positioning, where you move parts around to manage resources, connect item effects, and stack bonuses. Your current build is matched against stored ships from other players once you decide your vessel is ready to fight. Battles play out automatically after you launch your ship into war against opponents. You must optimize the design by choosing between a reliable build or committing to a risky combo that hopes to fire first.
