About
Dread Delusion is an open world RPG developed by Lovely Hellplace and published by DreadXP, released on June 15, 2022. The game combines elements of action, adventure, and indie design within a single-player experience. Players navigate a shattered land where humanity survives on flying continents above a surface cursed with undead threats. The setting includes diverse locations ranging from mushroom forests to undead mausoleums, filled with strange places and people. A beautiful retro 3D aesthetic defines the visual style of this horror title. The narrative focuses heavily on player choice, allowing users to either follow interactive quests or explore freely by picking their own direction. Decisions made throughout the game shape how the story unfolds, offering options for healing the world or seeking power and profit. A keen mind or charming wit can prove just as useful as a sword in overcoming challenges. The main story takes approximately nine hours to complete when including extras, while finishing all content requires about eighteen hours.
