About

Eldest Souls is an indie action RPG released on July 28, 2021, by United Label and CI Games with development from Fallen Flag Studio. The game features single-player gameplay where a lone warrior wields a greatsword made of purest Obsydian to face colossal calamities known as the Old Gods. Players can customize their combat style using unique Talents and Abilities unlocked after defeating these bosses. The main story takes approximately five hours to complete, while including extras extends the experience to seven hours. A completionist playthrough requires about thirteen hours of gameplay. The setting is an ancient kingdom within the sacred walls of the Citadel, which was built to imprison the Old Gods after mankind rebelled against them centuries ago. A free expansion titled Depths of the Forgotten adds a new perilous region called The Forgotten Depths to the game. This update introduces three new bosses, special weapons, a weapon customisation system, and an all-new ability. Exploring the labyrinthine passages reveals intriguing NPCs and compelling questlines that slowly uncover the truth behind the Old Gods. The graphics utilize a pixel-perfect 16-bit style with detailed attention to detail throughout the consecrated Citadel.
