Far Cry 5 is an action, shooter, adventure, and open world game. It was released on March 26, 2018. The game was published by Ubisoft and developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Red Storm, Ubisoft Shanghai, Ubisoft Toronto, and Ubisoft Kiev. Players can enjoy the game in single-player, multiplayer, or two-player co-op modes. The game is set in Hope County, Montana, where a fanatical doomsday cult known as Eden's Gate has taken control. Players must fight against the cult leader Joseph Seed and his siblings, the Heralds, to liberate the community. A variety of weapons are available to players, ranging from rocket launchers to shovels. Players can also commandeer vehicles such as muscle cars, ATVs, and planes to engage in combat with the cult forces.
